Why Performing artists have a bigger following and high promotion as compared to visual artists.
Abstract
This research report contains the study about the different Reasons why the performing artists have a bigger audience and high promotion in Uganda compared to the visual artists in particular.
In chapter one the Author presented the background of arts in Uganda both visual and performing artists and their activities appropriately and respectively basing on the case study of Kampala and wakiso.
In chapter two the Author looked forward to the literature review where he made online and offline research in what the writers said and how they perceived the visual and performing artists imbalances and reasons why the imbalances existed.
In chapter Three the Author portrayed a number of various methodologies employed during data collection of his research which included questionnaires, observation and one on one interviews.
In chapter four the Author displayed the presentation, interpretation and analysis of the data fetched from the field. He varied the research using objectives and presented the results according to them systematically.
In Chapter Five the Author made discussions, recommendations plus conclusions in line with the social, political, cultural and economic factors.
