dc.description.abstractThe study focused on makeup in stage performance, background and a brief history. The study based on the purpose of the study which was to examine new knowledge about makeup in stage performance. Objectives of the study which were as follows To identify the types of makeup used by actors and actresses on stage. To explore how stage makeup is applied on actors and actresses. To analyze the uses of stage makeup on actors and actresses. The research was to benefit the actors and actresses by helping them to understand the different types of stage makeup like cream based makeup, cake based makeup, blush and powder and understanding how stage makeup is applied so that they can compete with the known actors and actresses in the outside world. Chapter one illustrates the introduction of the research back ground information, problem statement, purpose of the study, research objectives, research questions, significance of the study, scopes (geographical, content and time) and the limitation of the study. Chapter two the researcher made a presentation of literature review and states necessary notes and citations in relationship to the topic got from the internet and other written books or documents. Chapter three illustrates methodology of the study or presents the analytical explanations of the methods that are used to conduct the research which helps the reader to understand how all the information was acquired in the field. It also indicates the methods and materials like pens, books, camera recordings used in the field to gather all the necessary information. Chapter four presents interprets and gives a broad discussion of the findings of the study with reference to the objectives. Chapter five presents the study conclusion and further research recommendation. References and appendixes were also used.en_US
