dc.description.abstractOur project is an IOT based automatic system that helps the College of Computing and Information Technology to monitor the security within the coll ege. The smart gate system through the powerful IOT enabled raspberry pi, scans and checks for registered users within its dataset. It automatically grants access to the registered users and it denies access to uncategorized visitors. The staff allocates specific amount of time through an app to the uncategorized visitor and upon elapse of the allocated time, the user gets notified through the application. The system has components like the raspberry pi board to interconnect other components like camera and also communicate with the systemen_US
