dc.description.abstract | The research attempted to find out the basics of body painting, where it originated from and the
people who engage themselves in this kind of activity. The researcher intended to know how body painting has influenced the society and what the community's view is about body painting. The research also aims at finding out different aspects about body painting for example how it is done, which people engage in this activity and why. With the use of one on one interview as a method of data collection with Mr. Kizito Isma, I noticed that a number of people more especially among the youth in Kampala engage themselves in the body painting activity and they are mostly inspired by the people from outside countries for example Jamaica, Las Vegas, New York and many others. Body paintings like tattooed and face painting are some of the activities enjoyed most by the youths and mostly the ones in city centres. | en_US |
